Frame and under bed coating/ painting

is primer needed too for that? Sounds pretty good, I'll be taking my bed off soon to put a new one on so I think I'll do it then

I used primer on all of my frame and then put the bed liner over that. On the bottom of the bed I used the rust converting spray paint and then ran a scotch brite pad over everything before headlining it.

I recommend using a paint brush if you go with Bedliner, the roller went on really thin. I think I had about 3 thick coats and 4 in the fenderwells and other high wear areas.
