Firewall Bulk Head Wiring Need Help

Ok so i have a 96 gmc sierra and im stripping down to get frame blasted im stuck at the wiring at the firewall. Im used to the pre 96 with the 2 different harnesses one on pass side and one driver this looks like the pass is tied into the driver side harness? Also does the connector still unbolt at firewall? If so what size is the bolt?

Yes it does. 10mm from memory. The internal plug will separate and give you the external harness that feeds the main fuse panel and engine related items.

There is another for the heater on the right side.

ok so is tha bolt from the inside out or out side in?

Outside in. Been a wile since I have looked at mine.

Thanks pass side had 2 7mm bolts and driver was a torx head on mine. All this wiring sucks lol

Yep. I did a literal swap into mine from a 99. Remember most of it.
