I used to remake the lower seat and stick 2x10" RF subs facing forward in there. amplifers went on the back wall on a board that matched the carpet color.

Could you do two single seats in the back and build a center console sub box maybe?

And reconfigure your seat bottom for amp mounting (this is a Dodge)

Whatever you end up doing please take pictures and let us know how it works out. I'm curious now. Especially in regards to the 8" forward-facing SoloBaric idea, seems like that has a lot of potential and would look really nice.
