I have a 99 ccsb 454 looking to buy a muffler for it want to go with a flowmaster 40 series but I dont know what size exhaust is on my truck can anyone help me and also my truck doesnt have a y pipe

My 2000 CC dually had 3 inch pipe from the factory with dual cat's in to a dual in single out muffler, I replaced it with a DI DO Magnaflow with an x pipe built in, with 3 inch turn down's on the back of it, I really like it.

Thats exactly what I want to do and think im gonna go with that or single out dumped after the axle
