evap canister relocation

Has anyone done this? if so where did you relocate it to? do the connections have to stay on top?
i have a 89 chevy k2500 and want to install a auxiliary battery. i have the tray after much searching. now i just need to know how to do it

You could take a look at the later years and possibly use thos parts...my truck would mount both in the same area.
