Having a problem with my headlights. I tried taking the horn off the truck and when I turned the headlights on after the horn was out, ALL the lights came on, with the left headlight assembly much dimmer then the left. When I pulled the battery cable off, installed the horn back in again, everything functioned properly and the hi/low beam switch started working again. Do the headlights require the horn to be plugged in and what if my horn is faulty will that affect the headlights. Its an 88 k1500 reg cab 4x4 350tbi with the split headlights for hi/low beam. Thanks a lot guys, sorta stumped here.
