check engine light comes on ten mintues into drive, runs like dog after

blinks once then stays on..

whats the code for 1

you have OBD2 dont worry about, OBD1 you can use a paper clip to show codes via the CEL light.

OBD1 Port, you jump two pins. Doesn't work on OBD2 though.
