Got truck back from shop the day after, they replaced some stuff and did a tune up as well.

I can't see how any of the above would have a bit to do with the fuel gauge not working, but ok.

It was a bunch of other things too, but bottom line is truck is running great. My fuel guage might not be broken after all. It's been going down, but doesnt move around with sudden jolts and such
