Best you can hope for is that the switch has failed. If the switch can be removed without taking the whole door-panel off, I'd start there with jumper wires and a test-light.
Failing that, the door panel comes off, and you investigate with that test-light, maybe a voltmeter, and some jumper wires. Once the door panel is off, about the first thing to check is to supply power/ground to the motor to see if the motor has died.
Of course, look at the mechanism to see if there's something that could jam the window in place.
