OK so some of you are going to think I am going backwards here - but for my purposes I'd rather have a 4 BBL carb on my 1988 Chevy K2500 4x4. I have the manifold on and the edelbrock carb on and hooked up.
What I'm wondering is can I just hook up the carb fuel line to the outflow side on the tank in the same place as the TBI was and just unhook power to the intank pump - then hook up a 4-5 PSI electric fuel pump running power from the battery through a relay and switch to run the pump? Seems to be a good Idea but I'm not sure if the intank pump will let fuel flow through it or will be too restrictive and overheat the pump???
Any input appreciated!
