Bought a '99 2dr in January. Have been chasing an occasional random misfire since bought. Initially would mis up hills. Treated with sea foam and issue was cured for a few weeks. Issue returned and updated plugs, wires, cap, and distributor but same issue persisted. Finally decided to give my fuel filter a look. I'd say its old enough that it's probably clogged- could be original to the truck. Will update with results.

It's amazing how often the fuel filter gets overlooked even in routine maintenance. I change mine every year, which also keeps the fittings from corroding to the lines and not moving.
