Cel on code 42 found

Been a while since I've had to work on OB1, but now my 92 has the CEL on. I know that 42 sets when you set the timing, but this came on while driving. It seems to hesitate now when I accelerate. What is causing this?

found the distributer was bad, had the top part was moving around.
