yes.. never had no trouble unplugged mine ive unplugged mine a few times and once in my grandpas truck no issues..

Yep. Do be careful plugging it back in though, I pushed mine through the bezel piece on my 98. Annoyed me so bad I had to get a whole new piece.

Well Chris, wish I read your post before I put the dash back together . I was able to push the bezel back without anything breaking though.
