Can the dash be swapped

So I've got a 97 k2500 with no air bags and im wondering if i could install the 95-96 dash board in the truck so that cubby is gone and id have that flat tray design.

Yes, though you will have to change the air ducting and a little bit of the lengths of the passenger side wiring to accommodate the dash shape change. Otherwise it's pretty much a direct swap.

What he said... but I wonder why you'd want that 95-96 dash; those pretend cupholders in there are good for spare change, that's about it.

The hot ticket is the 97-up dash with the 2500/3500 cubby hole storage pocket. IMO, anyway

Did this same swap in my 98, went to a 95 dash. I much prefer the 95-96 dash. And like Richard said, the cupholders are pretty much useless lol.
