I don't have emission's, but I am running a Comp 265HR in my Trailblazer, it still has good grunt and pulls hard up top.

A stock 4.8/5.3 cam is the tamest factory cam, so anything wakes them right up.

I never drove it without the cam. Compared to the police Tahoe's I work on daily it is a lot quicker but that's not really an apples to apples comparison.
