Cam swap in truck possible without removing ac condenser ?

Auto with a loose S10 converter ......I even run my 30"5" Camaro with a slightly larger cam with more overlap and it runs great. DD (FWIW) shows a ton of low end torque - its an extreme 4 x 4 grind so it should be fine... DD numbers - even if the DD numbers are off by say a ridiculous 30 HP, 30 TQ it will still be a good combo at 369 hp , 406 tq .

I have used a Melling 22280 cam in a 350 Vortec in a 4l80E truck with the stock converter. Ran great. 220/224 @ .050 with a 110 lsa. Stock 80E converter stalls about 2,200 rpm and the truck had 4.10s. Easily outpulled a 454 Vortec in the hills.

Well got her running today .....cant believe this thing idles so smooth with a 270 - [email protected] 111 cam - no real chop - reminds me of a 69 , 70 big block station wagon sound lol ....wanted some rump but honestly its a little too tame for me :( . Runs well totally streetable - pulls strong .....will throw a vacuum gage on it to see what its pulling as I am curious - brakes are good......FWIW . Will post a video but my android phones audio is absolutely horrible so why bother.

Tx Max ....but believe it or not with the 305 TBI swirl ports and 10:1 it was surprisingly

pretty good out of the hole with that 395 marine cam. Biggest surprise is how tame this one

sounds at 270, 274 @ 111 to me. I run a 280 .480 @ 108 in my 9.6:1 305 Camaro and

honestly its sounds bad axx compared to this one which is only 10 degrees different

duration ... this setup has some noticeable power jump over the last setup from around

2800 up ......
