C1500 k1500 bed fitment

Quick question. I've found a short bed I'm interested in about 3 hours away. I've got a c-series, and the bed is off of an extended cab k-series. I thought it would fit, but the seller is telling me k-series only.. I'm confused. TIA

c=2wd, k=4wd. Should make no difference for actual body panels, as they all (1500/2500/3500) use the same basic body parts with some minor cosmetic changes (sticker, flares, etc.). Frames and suspension are a different story.

Assuming it's the correct size you need (6' or 8'), the only thing different is the bed from a K-model might have 4wd or Z71 stickers, and possibly extended wheel arch flares (which can easily be removed).
