brake lights

are not working when i am on the brake they come on some times when im riding but they dont come on when i hit the brake. i really dont know how to explain it. any help?

Brake switch. It's located on the brake pedal.

your truck is a 1992? Neither of those links is the correct part. The second link is the 1994-1998 switch

the 1988-1993 switch is ACDELCO Part # D806A
