So guys who have been following along or maybe your reading this and thinking wtf is this guy thinking either way here is the news.
The other day I tore the dash and entire interior out. In the process I found out the dash was destroyed and my heater box was also sooo whats your favorite **** box buggy owner do? Heads to his fav pick and pull ! There i find another heat/ac box and to much suporise interior door handles. Along with a few other goodies for the low price of 15 bucks. (Wow what a deal).
Yesterday 1/21 i decide its time to clean the interior and start in on the dash rewire (super simple since mine was just fine). Compleate a rebuild of my heater box and install with miss amatched parts from junk yard and mine and install. I Get that project completed and with just 8 hours till I need to be back at work after 25 hours of being awake I install the dash. Being pumped I go to sleep and back to work.
Forward to today at around 11 pm 1/22 I start in on the dash completion. Rebuld a junk yard steering wheel with tilt (bonus!) It went amazing all things considered. Get everything plugged in and hooked up. Turn key with a dream and sure as **** it starts, let it warm up and long behold it works now.
But when I changed the heat to a different setting it clicks (sad [emoji209]). So my question is ... during the rebuild could I have turned the door to a diffent position making the blendor motor click or is the motor more than likely bad?
Either way I will fix it. To day I did mock up the junk yard seats also for install I think its looking good Ik this was a long post im just excited you guys are following along and helping me with this sit box helping me getting her into a truck to be proud of. Till the next post thanks attached are some progress pictures!
Side not if you have read this far im in illinois and still looking for crank interior door panels if someone has some laying around.
