VRP on EBay for $129.99… are the junk? Anyone ever use them? Just starting the process of looking for one for a 96 5.7.

I bought the one from autozone. The MPFI one. Yes it was $330ish, BUT it was a Delphi part when I opened the box. I was very glad to see it, and it definitely made my Tahoe run so much better.

I just ordered the Autozone GP sorenson brand and will see how it goes. I am working on a low power super rich running 5.7 vortec.

I removed the top intake and it looks like it has the $100 chinese MPFI...which the GP sorenson is too but I think from what I understand that distributor is more in common with Standard then it is with the janky amazon companies.

My upper intake gasket is basically gone and I noticed I didnt even have a gasket on the thermostat! That may be how coolant was working into the intake.
