Theres not much weight difference between a V-6 n V-8.

Maybe 55lbs or so. Weight distribution is also changed between 4.3 and 5.7, also changing the weight bias more towards the front of the truck.

I suspect it will drop but will not make the height stated, and that can always be an issue to the customer.
To be sure give a call to these guys, they likely have enough experience to tell you the difference if any...
