In theory it shouldnt matter. But these type of parts aren't built to precision standards. If a part is off by 1/4" no biggie. It would be hard to notice. Then you add a part for a different company that might be off 1/4" also you're looking at a 1/2" and that's noticeable.

no matter how much I tightened the u bolts it wasn't tight enough to keep axle from spinning and creating a bad angle for the drive shaft. Beltech spring perch and shock extenders, Mcgaughys notch.....the rest of the parts I fabricated myself. I cut the perch off the axle like because I was planning on using the factory u bolts and plate mounting it on top of the axle. instead I got round u bolts, made my own plates with hole drilled accordingly for drive shaft alignment and welded the spring perch to the axle. ill post pics tomorrow
