So recently installed some new housing and 5000K HID kit- I am getting the "flickering" issue or where the one headlight doesn't fire.

So from what I can tell I need a HD harness to help remedy this issue.

I have seen this thread http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/showthread.php?t=620371

But to be honest 80$ seems a little high for some wiring.

located this kit on Ebay granted it probably is not the same quality but at 1/20 the price I figured I would try.

From what I can tell I would need a kit for the passenger side and driver side? or if there is another kit out there that I didn't see please point me in that direction.

One harness takes care of one set of beams on each side. Note the two headlamp connectors on that pic.

I'd be a little worried about the quality of a $5 headlight harness, though. The ones that come with DDM Tuning HID kits have given me trouble and they look the same.

One thing for damn sure is you want to weatherproof the relay and try to mount it somewhere that rainwater won't get to it. I had one get corroded and locked on, burnt the harness up even though it was fuse-protected.

Should be good enough. You need to power directly from the battery as the kit does. What year is your truck? I have no flickering problems on my 95.

I'm a member on that forum as well, I have his harness kit for relay + express down windows for a square and I can confirm that his price is well worth it. Very high quality components used and the workmanship is top-notch. I am not wealthy by any stretch of the imagination, but that $80 strikes me as totally reasonable for the quality and the piece of mind.
