Well I got it wired up and no matter what I tried it would not go out of 'protect' mode. I tried everything all afternoon, I must have rewired it completely three or four times. I finally took it back for another one and it works like a charm. Only real mistake I made was mounting it on the back wall of the cab. My dad told me it was 'double walled' and it would be fine, but now I have screws sticking out between the bed and the cab. Gotta get some smaller screws now, lol.
