aftermarket ac install anyone?

whats up everybody so this so cal heat is getting to me and its time to drop in an ac in my truck! 1990 gmc c1500 4.3L rcsb. i was wondering has anyone used any aftermarket units and if so which would you recommend? Or is it better to go manufacture? like piece together my own oem system?

just did a setup in a f450 SD dump truck removed everything from another SD with a/c. removal took me about 1.5 hrs install about the same.the kit to do it new was 1400 or so. paid 200 for everything out of truck at junkyard.
