I was reading on another forum where they said it was normal to have a gap anywhere from .06 to .19 over that and you should use a washer. The torque converter is all the way against the crank. the spacing is at the mounting holes


Whom ever posted that is dead wrong! The TQ will pull up to the flex plate. The ONLY time that you put a washer on a flex plate bolt is to try and correct a balance vibration issue and then the washer goes under the head of the bolt. Never put washers between the TC and flex plate.

Yea I just nudged it forward and up with a screw driver to get em in line Been an adventure now for the header that doesn't line up
