I am changing out the valve cover gaskets on my 98 Suburban. I just did the driver side which was fairly simple I've done them before but not on this new of a truck. Most of my experience comes from working on Chevys in the 70s and 80s. My question is do I have to remove the which I assume is the throttle body on the passenger side to get to that Center upper bolt and/or to remove the valve cover itself? any help would be appreciate it thank you.

Yeah, it's been years since I've worked on a Vortec big block but I am pretty sure the throttle body has to come off. You may want a new gasket handy in case the old one looks crunchy. They're not expensive.
