im swaping the cab on my 1995 chevy to a 1997 cab, i was wondering if the 97 dash wiring harness would work the the 95 engine wiring harness?

idk but youd be better off usin the wirin from the 95
No I have done this many times, and you need to put the 95 wiring in the 97 dash.
Correct, will NOT be compatible. I just changed out the dash for my '95, with a '95 dash from the junk yard, and the wiring harness STILL didnt exactly match. The harnesses have 4 digit codes attached to them, identifying what harness they are. You need to take the harness out of your own dash to make sure youre wired up correctly. Harness removal from the dash is very easy. Air duct comes out first, and is only held in by 2 screws, 1 on each end, and a plastic tab in the middle that comes out in the radio compartment. Harness is exposed then, and effortless to remove.
