Just picked up a 96 K2500 ECLB with a 6.5 Diesel, I am a Diesel fan, also have a 83 K20 with a 6.2 and a 82 K30 with a Cummins swap.
This is my second 6.5, previously had a 96 GMC K3500 Dually a few years ago and I miss the smooth IFS ride so I brought this one.
It has just over a 100k on it but New England hasn't been too kind to it.
Plan to do a slow rehab over time.. fixing things as I go..

Here is couple pics to start..

I love the extcab long bed combo. Whats the plans, rust repair?

Yes, I plan on swapping the frame at some point.. The rear crossmembers are rotted and the front frame horns have some tender spots
so I am going to see if I can find a decent frame, blast and paint it up good.
Already got a color matching r/s door to swap, need r/s fender, drivers door and bumpers.

Repainted the front wheels, scored these 2 wheels for $40 in primer, scuffed up the primer and painted with wheel paint.
Guy with the wheels had a like new Hankook Dynapro tire in the size I needed for $10 so I brought it and got another like new one on Epay.

Rear tires are only a few months old so I going to run them for now, but I need 2 more wheels to replace the crappy rear ones.
Also missing a trim ring so I need to find one of those.
