95 steering column question

Would my 95 steering column out of my 2500 non air bag work in my 98 tahoe? I know it will bolt up just wondering if the wiring would, thanks

The 1998 had passlock theft deterrent, the 1995 did not.

Unless the passlock feature has somehow been disabled in your 1998, a 1995 column wont work.

The electrical components/wiring needed to run the engine/security in the 1998 aren't in the 1995 column.
