95 3/4 ton resto

Hey all, new to the forum here. I have a few questions and was hoping to get some direction. I`m restoring my 95 3/4 ton 4x4. Its a reg. cab long bed. 454 5spd. The cab is repairable but still pretty rough. I have a 2wd, 96 cab that was an auto and a 6.5 diesel that is nearly flawless. What would i run into as far as "road blocks" if i were to switch the cabs? are they even interchangeable from 95 to 96? any help and insite will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
