I'm new so I apologize in advance if I posted this wrong
Here's the story I have a 1994 GMC Sierra, long bed, regular cab, 2wd, with a 4.3 and 4l60e
I'm doing a engine and tranny swap. I bought a tranny and motor out of a 1991 Chevy Silverado 2wd. The motor out of the 91 chevy is a 4.3 and the tranny I believe is a 700r4. I'm going to completely swap the motors and trannys out of both.
My question is will the 700r4 and 4.3 go into the 94 sierra without hassle? I know the engine will swap okay, but will the transmissions?? Since the 4l60e is electronic controlled and the 700r4 is before then.
