Truck is a 93 2wd 5.7, bought an 01 nv3500 for a manual swap. I have the stock flywheel and clutch kit for the 93 5speed truck, problem is the internal slave cylinder hits the pressure plate right before the dowels meet the holes (roughly 5/8”)
If I bolt the trans to the motor there will be preload on the clutch and from what I understand that’s incorrect. Do I need a different pressure plate or what?
