4l80e swap.

well my 4l60e has been slipping and now it has seemed to lock up. so preparing for the future of this truck I'm going to go 4l80 with it. what torque convertor would you guys recommend? For now its pretty much stock l31. it does have a true dual exhaust with high flow cats. any help would be greatfull.

True! But going of your sig, I would say a stock stall, HD would be good for you.

as of right now I'm going off of my l31. eventually its going to get an ls. I do tow occasionally nothing big though.

Are you looking for speed? Are you racing the thing?

I'd just go with a stock 4L80e unit. Even behind a big block they are a little on the loose side so that will tighten them up a bit if you have a small block but it will work fine.
