4L60E Question

Will a 4L60E out of 98 s10 4x4 4.3L work on my 97 K1500 350? When was the changeover year for the one to two piece casings on the S10?

i believe 97 was the change over. i'll research it some more and get back unless someone else chimes in.

I know 97 was the changeover year for the fullsize trucks. I'm not sure on the s10's though if theres was the same the year or couple years later.

My 97 has the case with the inspection cover on the bottom
