I have a 90 SS with 55K on it. Nothing major done, 4/2 drop widened stockers with 325/50's, headers & exhaust, shaved tailgate and tailights (not a fan). I have some pretty simple plans for next spring/summer. Heads, mild cam, intake, whipple, built th400 with a gear vendor behind it. Prolly do some gears, and little stuff hear and there. Here's some pics.

Truck is no longer for sale btw. I ended up selling the goat that's in some of the pictures.

I don't usually get excited about 2wd trucks but yours is awesome. Can't find these around my parts anymore. Good to see a nice one out there.

Welcome! Nice SS. Looks like fairly recent paint. I agree with you about the tail lights.

Do you have experience with the G/V overdrives? I have considered one for my '98, but a few of my buddies keep telling me not to.

Thanks everybody.

The paint is actually original, truck has a little over 55k on it.

I don't have any exp with the G/V's but alot of the SS guys do and say they are unbreakable. Not sure what tranny setup I'm going with either a th400 with a Gear Vendor or a strong T-56.

Ahhh... A BB Chevy with a stick behind it! I had a '70 Nova SS 396/375 hp (L-78), with a wide ratio Muncie (M21). Stock & original, except for headers. Just a beast, & a ton-o-fun to drive. 6mpg, & I didn't care. I was the 3rd owner, & watched the original owner bring it home. Never should of sold it. Got $6500.00 for it in '85. Good money back then. The guy who has it now, wants $65000.00!!!

I'm really thinkin about doing a T-56 behind it, I'm just nervous about the swap since I have so much planned already.

Heres a pic of the rear.
