454 starting issues

quick question guys my 454 wont start off the turn of the key but if I jump the solenoid with a screw driver it starts it did this to me before but it came out of it any idea what it could be?

See if your getting power to the trigger side of the solenoid when you turn the key if you are its the solenoid

like taylor said check the trigger wire there may be a fusible link on that wire check before it and after the link if you do have power to it then like he said the solenoid is the issue

Yeah I'll check but it did this before and once I got it started it started fine off the key
