[ QUOTE=mattgio72;789621]Ya we had a Cincinnati laser with dual 8' x 20' tables(can be loading/unloading one while the other is cutting)...that's the machine that I have all my parts cut on...and I am good friends with the programmer so its pretty easy to get an idea in my head and work with him to get the parts cut...and they still let me doy own bending(as long is just some small jobs) so that's nice too![/QUOTE]

Oh yeah having a connection like that definitely helps. I've got a set of front bumper brackets cut out of 5/16 steel that I had our guy at work cut for me on break one day (mind you it's me and my buddy that run the detail shop) did you do structural fabrication or what?

We didn't do fab at our shop...all pre fab...so by time the customer received it it was ready for fit and weld...but we also had a 10' x 80' HD plasma table with twin altra/hypotherm 400 amp plaz units that will cut out all our thick plates...we had a lot of accounts that did structural work...

Well here's an update... One of my window vent shades got ripped off the truck(it was loose) so I ordered 4 all new ones last week and they came in yesterday... Now I am going to pull it in the shop and strip off all the old glue/sticker residue so I can put the new ones on...but while I have them off I decided to go ahead and order my new tow mirrors and install them before my new vent shades go on. And then i ordered my cowl hood...and then I dropped ALL my parts off to powder coat finally including my side steps, hitch step, tailgate cap, front skid plate, front tow hooks, and my traction bars and frame brackets that they bolt up to...a lot happened yesterday and a big change is coming... Get my parts back from powder coat and get my hood painted and then start to install it all...and I think while its in the shop on going to buff the paint as well...can't wait to get some pics to you guys!

Well my mirrors showed up today...so I got busy cleaning all the old glue off the doors from the old ventshades(PITA) and then tackled the install of the mirrors, finished off by installing my new ventshades...a few quick pics and don't mind the dirty truck it'll be washed and waxed this week once my powder coat parts come back...and its only like 20 degrees right now too but I got the big ole truck to fit in the garage with the heat while working on the mirrors today...much more to come very soon!

Update...its snowing pretty good here in North Idaho, about 6" so far. Its been pretty busy at work and throw Christmas into the mix and its been pretty hectic lately. My truck isn't a daily driver(I got a 08 impala ltz for that) so I had a pretty good load of garbage after toys r us threw up in my living room. So I got to drive my truck to work and stop at the dump on the way there. Anyways coming home tonight I got to test out the 4 wheel drive, although I didn't really need to. Everything works awesome as it should very pleased. Powder coat parts should be done now and hood is going in for paint in about a week. Really want some new wheels/tires next but gonna have to wait a while on those I think...stay tuned for progress!
