1999 Suburban LS Swap

Hey everyone!
My brother and I are getting geared up for an LS Swap in his 1999 2wd Suburban.
He has acquired a donor vehicle. It's a 2006 Chevy Express with a 6.0L and a 4L80E.
At this point... My first question is, will we need to acquire a different ECU if we plan on using a 4L60E?
I'm sure I will have multiple questions as soon as we have progress on this swap...

No the 06 harness and ecm can be used to run the 4l60e, with some wiring mods, but I would strongly suggest that you stay with the 4L80E, it will last much better behind the 6.0 than that 4L60E ever will.
