1998 2 door Tahoe build thread

Been working like crazy on this DD dash bezel. I basically bought two of them from a junkyard to make one good one. I don't want to cut up the original one to the truck.

I will be wrapping the darker gray area with the vinyl wrap.
Here is a teaser pic for now until I can upload the images to photobucket.

I think I paid just over $120 for the grille.

I have another roll of wrap coming in soon so I can try and wrap the dark gray section of the dash bezel. Not sure how well it work out though since there are a lot of right inside and outside edges.

Nice tahoe. DD install looks clean. All the writeups I have read it sounded like it was major modifications. Yours looks pretty clean.

The first carbon fiber overlay I had on the bezel was a self adhesive kit I bought from a member here. When I went to the DD setup I ended up selling it and then having the bezel hydro dipped. Hydro dipping is a new way of coating parts. Look it up on youtube.
