1995 Sierra running rich Help!

I just replaced the strap, no dice. It's fumes are almost dizzying. Filled up today, mileage was 8.6 :0

did you check that main "bus wire" from the battery?....

the 1995 305 V8 is a roller cam OBT2 engine... even though OBD2 didn't officially start until 1996, some models pioneered it.
the 88 350 is a generation one solid cam V8 with a new generation (for 1988) TBI, tuned (in your case) for a much heavier truck....

I think you need to change the intake and fuel delivery to match the computer. or change the computer to match the engine/fuel delivery system

but check that main ECU bus wire!!

I did check the bus wire. I guess I will end up ordering the prom chip that crash sent the link for, and see if it helps...
