I found a good deal on a 1995 NV4500 that came out of a 3500 with a 350 that I might pick up this weekend. I have a 1993 NV3500 K1500 with a 305 or 350 (not sure, its been switched sometime in its life) but I will be swapping to a built old style 350 when this trans goes in.
I am just making sure that the current transfer case and stock driveshafts will bolt in without modification? I really dont want to cut the driveshafts! What else needs to be done for this swap? I heard something about having to relocate the cross member, is that just drilling new holes in the frame and re bolting it in place? I assume I'll need a new clutch kit and slave cylinder (both are external slaves)?
