How were you able to do this? The stock steering wheel on mine's all screwed up, and this has me intrigued.
Well the process is to get a 1977 to 1991 Cadillac (don't hold me to the dates or years) steering wheel from either ebay or a wrecking yard. I got mine from ebay (the Midwest yards pickings are slim for the old school iron). I even had the caddy button work with the trucks horn.
Now with the eldorado wheel there is a metal collar, spring attached to a plastic piece all bolted to the wheel with 5.5 mm head bolts. Also you have to drill a hole into the rear plastic to line up the horn wire. Also you might want to trim the collar to spruce things up a bit (there would be a wee bit of a gap if you forego the collar piece)
The cadillac wheel has unique pieces. Like the spring and collar along with other bits.
The idea is that you could in theory or practice use any GM non air bag wheels from the past like 1950s to 1994.

Hi everyone, would appreciate if anyone could tell me what years Chevy steering wheel/column splines are the same? Also, what years other G.M. cars...
