so in the winter/spring of 2014 i peiced together an 87 crx si. long story short i wasn't that happy with it and me being 6'6" i didn't fit in it quite right. very uncomfortable to me. but $20 per week in gas was awesome. even still i put it up for sale. months went by and was offered some crazy crap. like busted fourwheelers and such. so it was parked in the back yard for the remainder of the summer. tried again in early fall and got an offer to trade for a running driving pickup truck that needed a little work. it was a carbureted 1990 c1500. sweet! this would be my 4th obs. so i looked at it in person and could see it wasn't that great off but i had intended on getting a project truck. so knowing it was now or never to get rid of the crx for something that i would want or risk taking a huge financial hit on the car i agreed to trade.

sorry for the quality of the pictures. i don't own any other camera except what my little iphone 4 has and it is always with me.

cracked open the diff. it was leaning forward on its springs. and i am not kidding. this is how much fluid was in it. none spilled out. open 3:42. no damage to any teeth.

Had to stop to make some cash for the build. no crank no start intrepid. (cam sensor killed car, owner killed battery and eventually burnt the starter)

i bought a hood on ebay but it was later canceled and refunded. some folks on the 88-98 facebook page got grilles and bumpers at this time. seems all the hoods were canceled. bummer.
