It's only an extra $5-7 to run a tank of premium vs regular. I run 93, so I can't remember the difference in price, I never even look. I think it's like $0.30 a gallon maybe. It's worth it to me.

My turbo Toyota required premium
My impala was tuned for premium
And my truck doesn't like anything less than premium with stock tune and a cam.

:hmm: I do like carbs...

shoot idk we will see. im still indecisive of what i wanna do.

Be careful with premium. If your engine is not built for it. It can hurt your performance/mpg.

My mpgs suffer and I loose a lot of power at higher rpms running 87, also doesn't idle as smooth.

It depends on what chip you go with. With engine mods, you can get away with 87 running a cooler thermostat and less timing adjustment. The timing can be dialed in more if you are willing to run premium.

It all depends on what you do to the engine. You raise the compression up to 10:1 and your gonna have to run something higher than 87. With a cam and other stuff, it will run better on 93. But if you only put a cai on it, 93 will most likely hurt you

It won't hurt anything inside the engine necessarily. He might not
