Update on this: truck has a vibration up at higher speeds, other than tires, etc, how often would a worn CV joint also wear out the half shaft/axle? Wondering if I should just do seals, CV, and axle shaft at the same time

Check U-joints and carrier/center support bearing.Update on this: truck has a vibration up at higher speeds, other than tires, etc, how often would a worn CV joint also wear out the half shaft/axle? Wondering if I should just do seals, CV, and axle shaft at the same time
Gotcha. Haven’t been under it much since I got it but I’m sure most steering/suspension needs help lolCheck U-joints and carrier/center support bearing.
On the CV shafts, look at the boots. If they are cracked and dry rotted, it's time to replace them. If the boot looks in fairly good condition, then the CV joint should be okay, assuming the vehicle isn't lifted, thus placing the CV joint at a sub-optimal angle.
Not lifted!Check U-joints and carrier/center support bearing.
