one thing, if your state requires an operational parking brake to pass tech, the K10 or K20 rotor will not work for you, you need to source calipers from a early 80's (84 should work) caddy eldorado or olds toronado.

well so far in California, no need for a safety inspection. only stupid a** smog checks... so when I move away from California, I'll worry about an e-brake then

coming back to this dilemma again... still not sure if the brackets for old style 14 bolt will work with my new style. even though mine does have the drum positioned Behind the hub as did the old ones. would really like to hear from someone that has done disc brakes on a newer 14 bolt (srw) like mine. can't help but think losing ~100 pounds from the rear would be really nice for power/economy
