1988 Chevy R30

Howdy, I just got an 1988 Chevy 3500 4x4 regular cab. I want to put the biggest tires and new rims on this truck but I am not sure what I can get away with. Currently 235/85/R16 tires. Any direction is greatly appreciated.

Bumper compatibility or swap chart

Does anyone know of a chart that will show what Chevy / GMC bumpers will fit other Chevy's? I have a 99 Chevy C3500 2WD Carryover Model and need to swap the rear bumper out. Original bumper was swapped out by the previous owner and the access hole for the spare tire hoist shaft is off by about...

Evening, I'm doing some work on my truck, a 1989 GMC 3500 with a 454 and a manual transmission. I am trying to figure out parts compatibility between models (2500 vs. 3500) and brand (chevy or GMC) so that I can keep an eye out for parts that I may need. I don't see much on the search function...

I put in the wrong transmission, yes I know I am dumb.

Hi everyone, I have a 1989 gmc k3500. It still has the original 454 but the original 3 speed quit on me a few days ago. So myself and a friend look around our yard (scrapyard we work at) and see a nice looking trans that looks like it will fit. So we yank the old trans out and plop this one...

Finally found ya'll I'm also looking for a grill foe my ride. Mine finally cracked because of me having to lay on it to remove the heads. Wont get into that its too sad. I love the grill that I had even when the chrome strips came off the insert side. I'm hearing rumors of some grills wont line...
