Ride height question

Hello, I’m researching tire size options and I’m trying to figure out what I have in place to accommodate a larger tire. My truck is a 1996 2wd. The tires I have now are very small. 255/40R17 and 275/40R17 looks out of proportion. Can someone tell me what setup I currently have by the pictures?

Part name or number

Does anyone know the name of the plug that is on the door panel that hits the light switch for the cab lights. I can easily find the switch but I’m also missing the little plug for the door panel. I have just a little hole there. Thanks
