K1500 oil pan removal

Was able to get the front diff out. What's the easiest way to get it back in? with one person, on the garage floor..with a floor jack and transmission jack. Anyone have any tips for reinstalling?

Will the cover clear the exhaust pipe? Just trying to avoid any surprises before starting. Being in Illinois, the exhaust hardware is for certain rustified. Looks like it would clear the flex plate/tc cover if diff is removed, but the thin dust cover needs to come off

Thanks for all the feedback. Think I will try to pull out the diff to get access. Does the flex plate cover have to come off to drop the oil pan?

K1500 oil pan removal

I've got a 98 Z71 w/ 102k miles, stock height. It's had a slow oil leak for a while now, appears to be leaking from where timing cover meets the oil pan or the crank seal. Also noticed rear of oil pan is wet w/ oil. Getting the ambition to do timing cover and oil pan gaskets. I've searched...
